Pat Casey performs two of the most sought after musical genres in the city of New Orleans: authentic jazz with The Pat Casey Jazz Trio and intense New Orleans funk fusion with Pat Casey and The New Sound.  

Originally from Denver, Colorado, bassist Pat Casey’s music career has already lead him around the world playing throughout the U.S., Europe, South America, and India among many other places. He has played at many venues across New Orleans, including at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. He has called New Orleans home since 2008, and he possesses a diverse musical palette, consisting mostly of Jazz, Gospel, Funk, Afro-Cuban, and Samba/Bossa-Nova. 

Pat was nominated for "Best Bass Player" in Offbeat Magazine's 2018 Best of The Beat Awards. He also shares in the prestige of his wife Robin Barnes Casey's vocal jazz album, Songbird Sessions, which debuted on the Billboard charts at #5 Traditional Jazz Albums and #8 Top Current Jazz Albums. Pat produced, helped compose, and arranged music for Songbird Sessions. 

Pat Casey also teaches private bass lessons & instruction.
